So a couple of years ago, it might even have been three, I bought a yellow Bartzella Itoh Peony from Applied Climatology at the West Chester Growers Market.

I had completely forgotten where I had planted this. And it hasn’t bloomed yet. Today is the first bloom of it ever and it happens to have opened on mine and my husbands birthday. I think that’s pretty spectacular!
