Well, here we go. It’s time for the Pennsylvania round robin of spring weather. Tonight is a frost warning. So into the greenhouse goes everything that is not in the ground. My greenhouse is not heated, but it will provide the same protection as me tarping everything, if not a little more protection.
I had planted my NEW rosebushes this week, so I am hoping they have acclimated enough that they will survive without issue.
I’m not sure how the daffodils will take to the frost. They are usually pretty hardy. Once again, what I am not sure of are the fig trees. They are still young and getting established. But there’s nothing I can do. My garden is large enough at this point that it is survival of the fittest.
A lot of the mulching got done this week, and some other spring chores.
Happy gardening!
